JavaFX and Java Swing Applications

To illustrate and to test the use of the Veterinary Medicament API, an application in JavaFX and an application in Java Swing have been built. Most of the code, classes are shared on GitHub web site. Please view the source code on these pages JavaFX and Java Swing.

Features of the applications

- Autocompletion and simple search: the result of the search shows the information about the medicament on a table.

- Advanced search: the result displays a list of names

- Modify the information about the medicament

- Remove a medicament from the data base

- Printing of the results

- Generate PDF file from the results

- Add/Remove an element to/from the favorites list

- View the history of the searches and the list of favorites

- Update of the data of the applications

- Theme changing (default theme or dark theme) for the JavaFX application


The language used for the interface is French. The applications have been tested on Debian/Ubuntu (Gnome) and Windows 10 operating systems.
